In this world of stress and time pressures, the world needs comforting, nurturing, love, and holistic healing more than ever before. I know many holistic practitioners and I would expect that they would be swamped with people paying large amounts to gain respite and that these healers would be very prosperous. In reality, I have found that many healers are struggling financially and find that their practices are not generating the kind of income that would maintain the lifestyle they would like. How can this be changed? How can people who need help be reached and how can healing practitioners achieve the kind of incomes they deserve without getting totally burned out in the process?
Most practitioners are in the business because they are healers and they love people and can not stand to see suffering. They want to alleviate it any way they can. They are creative and live in a world of energy, even as they struggle with the daily realities and tasks of the mundane world like everyone else. They are not, as a group, very interested in business. They are often averse to computers, accounting, paperwork, and other left-brain enterprises that people associate with business. They feel uncomfortable marketing themselves and being the center of attention. The concept of marketing, actively selling their services as they see in the world of advertising and promotion is foreign and uncomfortable. Not just healers can feel this way.
Fortunately there is another way, and it is as different from the left-brained world as you can get. The way is a path that seems to be made for the healer and spiritual voyager but can be used by anyone. I call it Multidimensional Marketing, and the process is a journey that brings not just more financial prosperity, but a richer inner and outer life as it increases the range of people touched by your healing gifts.
Financial prosperity is often stark and cold – people putting in countless grueling hours in sterile businesses for large salaries they have no time to enjoy. There is more. There is a prosperity that meets not only financial needs but also the needs of the heart, soul, and spirit. This is the prosperity worth finding.
We are all multidimensional beings and this is an energetic world. Prosperity depends on a maximized flow of giving and receiving, where a person’s true essence is alive, active and expressed in the world to bless others and the person is open to receiving bounty in return. The problem is that most people have inner work to do, to discover their unique essence and gifts and their true infinite value. The process is an ongoing one through life, but at any point in time, we are all much more than we realize. All of us have parts of ourselves that are closed off, suppressed, or rejected, that need to be opened, accepted, and embraced so they can be expressed in the world. We need to recognize the true value of who we are and what we have to offer – not as a skill or as a job, but as a whole or complete essence that is multifaceted and much broader than what has been experienced or expressed to date.
Time spent in meditation, experiencing the infinite expression of your essence and connection to the energies of the Universe will lead to a new perspective, a much broader view of who you can be in the world and what you can do. These result in increased energy, a larger vision, and corresponding life changes, first in tiny incremental steps, then in a flood.
You will have a vision. You will have a mission. You will have a story to share. You will see how the way you have been serving people is a tiny fraction of the way in which you could be reaching them in the future and you will move to make this happen, not for your sake, but for theirs. You will see how your impact can be broader, deeper, and more lasting. You will attune with the colors and symbols that express your essence. The space around you will gradually change to more fully express your essence as you add these colors, symbols, and ideas to the environment. Life will become more integrated as you live more in sync with your essence and express your essence in a more congruent way. The unneeded elements, the distractions, will become obvious so they can be released and removed. Over time, although life is expanding and has many new elements, everything is more integrated and in tune with your essence, which is not only energizing, but also more manageable. Life unfolds more naturally. The people you serve will notice a difference. Because you are expressing more of your infinite self, you can connect to them in a more open and genuine way. You can touch places in them that were out of reach. Freeing yourself frees them as well.
In the natural, there are several ways to grow a business. One way is to sell more products/services to the same people. Once you have a broader/deeper understanding of your essence you will be providing services on another level, a higher level. As you share with others on the basis of giving – as you are open to see their needs and how what you have to share can help, this kind of growth happens naturally.
Another way is to expand your product line, which is a natural outgrowth of expanding the expression of your essence. Provide different/ additional products and services to the same clientele – things that are a logical outgrowth of what you already provide, that express your essence and gift, and expand their experience of growth, nurturing, and healing.
A third way is to increase your client base. Ask for referrals from existing customers. Make it easy for them to refer people and give them incentives to do so.
Increase your fees. Most people undercharge. To make it easier, you can build in some of the new ideas that arise from your growth and vision – you will be serving your clients more completely.
Explore collaborations, and at first these may not be easy. Each attempt will help you grow. Successful collaborations will be between people who share commonalities of essence as well as complement each other in ways that make both people grow. In the beginning there will be issues of ego, but over time these will be worked out, as the people involved respond to each other at the level of essence, not of worldly exteriors or mutual expectation.
Try new things – be open to new ideas and opportunities that arise. If you have “always wanted to do ______” and never have, explore that. Do it. There is a reason those ideas are lurking in your mind and they have to do with the person you can become if you will only listen to that advice, those desires. Trying new things is part of the process of discovering and expanding your essence.
Multidimensional Marketing is clear communication, essence to essence, offering your gifts to a world that sorely needs them. Redesign your materials – any business cards, flyers, brochures, product packaging, and working environment – so that they have a common look that more fully expresses who you are and what you are offering. They will strike a deeper chord in the hearts of the people you reach and help you draw people to you. Their essences will be drawn by the clear, open, and loving expression of your essence, your true self.
By expanding your businesses in the ways described above, you can grow your business and income exponentially, while making your relationships with clients more genuine and effective. When this happens, self-defeating patterns, ideas, and actions will rise to the surface to be healed. You will need to be able to accept, without self-sabotage, the resulting blessings, knowing that they are the seeds of even greater growth, expanding how you can interact with your world to make a difference.

Labyrinths have been in human consciousness since before recorded time. The seven-path labyrinth, circa 2000 BCE, is the oldest known labyrinth form. It is formed from two intertwined spirals, the symbol used by numerous cultures to depict energy patterns. The spirals are placed within a circle, the symbol used in many cultures to signify the Universe, Spirit, the Divine Mystery, the One. The seven-path design has been found in the Middle East, Africa, India, Asia, Europe, North and South America.
An ancient archetype for transformation, healing, and connection to Spirit, the labyrinth is both a metaphor and a tool for shifting energy, perception, and consciousness. Viewed from above and experienced from within, the labyrinth appears to be confusing and complicated, like a maze which has multiple entrances, dead ends, and tricks. Mazes are puzzles that engage one’s left brain thinking. In contrast, the labyrinth is constructed of a single path with no intersections or choice points - except whether to enter. Because this is your only choice, it allows you to let go of your “maze mind,” the decision-making, problem-solving left brain mind, and completely enter the experience of your intuitive right mind. The labyrinth path takes you on the most circuitous journey possible before arriving at its center. Traversing its meandering path requires that you pass through every part of the circle twice – on the way in as well as the way out.
To initiate a labyrinth walk, you cross over its threshold into safe and sacred interior space of the circle, separating yourself from the outside world. Inside, isolated from the exterior world, follow the meandering path which folds back on itself, continually changing directions in a balanced, pendulum-like motion. The path leads you past the center many times, taking you from the inside to the outer boundary and back again until you finally arrive at the center. To enter the center, the pause place on your inward journey, you cross another threshold.
The Labyrinth Journey
The center is the space of “no thing” where “some thing” happens. When you have stayed as long as you want, turn around 180 degrees and retrace the path. The way out is the way in. Because there is only one path, you may pass others on the path. Finally, to leave the labyrinth, you cross over the threshold to return to the outside world.
The labyrinth is the embodiment of initiation rites and as such is associated with death, rebirth, and resurrection. It is said that one never leaves a labyrinth the same. To experience the labyrinth is to be born again into a new level of consciousness. The walk into the labyrinth activates centrifugal energy, the energy of compression and focus. During this phase, the walker surfaces resistances, beliefs, and concerns that have been impediments to their journey. The center is the place of stillness and communion where death and rebirth occur. The way out activates centripodal force, the energy that integrates the insights of the center and prepares the walker for reentry into the world.
For millennia, labyrinths have been associated with the concept of journey. The purpose of the labyrinth journey is to become initiated into a higher plane of consciousness. Journeys to find meaning in our lives, to renew our souls, are sacred journeys, pilgrimages. The purpose of pilgrimage is to make life more meaningful.
On sacred journeys, no encounter is without meaning. Signs everywhere. Everything is significant. The journey takes you through unknown territory. You confront countless obstacles; you struggle to overcome them. Finally, you arrive at the destination, the place that pierces your heart, and you experience breakthrough, illumination, transformation of consciousness.
The purpose of a sacred journey is not to stay at the pilgrimage site but to return the world - to home - with your newfound awareness, to make a difference. Arriving home, you realize the purpose of your journey is to live your Truth, to be wholly who you are, and to trust the Path.
The Labyrinth in Business
So what does this have to do with business? The labyrinth is a container for bringing your questions and problems and opening up to inspiration for solutions. It is a place where you can let go of stress and things that have been holding you back, have a walking meditation to calm your mind, and allow yourself to open to new ideas. Finger labyrinths work as well as larger labyrinths.

A traditional business plan vs our Multidimensiona Business Plan
A traditional business plan addresses things that an invester or potential partner or creditor needs to know to make a decision about whether or not the company is a good risk. It also helps the business owner get a cohesive look at the business from an overall point of view. It dwells on tangible data, and it puts a lot of emphasis on financials, statistical information, and risk analysis. In real life, statistics can be misleading and intangibles can be very important. There are many levels of analysis and perspective that the traditional business plan ignores that can be vital for a multidimensional business (a wholistic business operated by consciously aligning with Universal Principles).
There are worlds of information and concepts behind the numbers: subtle, vibrational, relationship, energetic, and belief-based issues. A successful multidimensional business considers many nontraditional factors to be important. As multidimensional businesses go mainstream, the tools that traditional businesses use become only a small part of the overall planning process. They don’t go away, but they are put in their proper place.
Organizations can’t be all things to all people. They are unique expressions of essence, continually growing, expanding, changing, and creating. Just as individuals locate themselves in the 6 directions, so an organization locates itself. It is important that the identity and vibration be clear and focused. People find their place in the organization synergysticly and people are drawn to the organization through the vibrational image they put out. The clearer the vibration, the purer and more complete the intent, faster and easier ideal clients can find your organization. Each company has its own clients. In a vibrational Universe, there is no competition. The Multidimensional Business Plan is meant to clarify the intentions of the business on every level to clear the way for a more robust company and a stronger flow of energies, including financial.
The Multidimensional Business Plan is designed to:
- guide business owners or a company team through a multidimensional look at the business and to create a vibrational equivalent for your ideal business that manifests joy, success, peace, and abundance on many levels, for you, your employees, clients, and vendors.
- attract employees and clients who are a joy to work with and who fit your vision and add to your abundance, and
- help your company make a positive impact on your world through spiritually and socially responsible inspired action in line with your vision, mission, and values.
This plan recognizes that being in business involves more than following a “to do” list of tasks that earn money. A truly successful business is a collection of souls working together to:
- help fulfill the life purposes of all the people involved as owners, employees, subcontractors, venders, and clients,
- gently help all involved expand into greater potentiality, and
- profitably achieve mutually agreed-upon worthwhile goals.
This plan also takes into account Universal/Cosmic laws and makes the assumption that we are all One.
What this Multidimensional Business Plan will do:
Give you perspective by looking at your business through the lens of past, present, and future, looking at many different factors. Where have you been? Where are you now? Where are you headed? Where would you like to be? What are the things that are truly important to you?
Guide you through the process of creating, activating, and magnetizing your Vision for your successful enterprise in the short term, medium term, and long term.
Help you recognize and more completely define your Mission to positively impact your world while growing yourselves, and activate the power of that in yourself and the organization.
Identify your Core Values: the sustaining beliefs and principles of the business. Ensure that those values are in harmony with or shared by employees, partners, and clients.
Knowing the essence of your Vision, Mission, and Core Values helps you determine if you are on or off the path so that decisions can be made more easily and wisely.
Identify your Market – Your ideal clients - the community of those who are in harmony with your products and who resonate with your values:
- What they look like in terms of demographics and beliefs, finances, services required, missions, growth possibilities, etc.
- Where they can be found,
- How contact with these types of people can be made with ease and joy.
- How you can easily qualify the people who come to you to ensure that they meet the vibrational alignment of an ideal client.
Develop a cohesive plan for Client Development once you attract a qualified, vibrationally harmonious client.
Create a more wholistic framework for your products and programs, one that sees them as more than just products, rather as solutions and opportunities for service, growth, and expansion for your organization, your clients, and your venders.
Define the specific products and programs in a multi-dimensional way that will fit into the overall framework and be in harmony with your ideal clients. This will help both you and your clients to be very clear about what you are offering and how these products will help them. This will enable you to create pricing and marketing plans that touch the core essence of your ideal clients, meet their needs and desires on a deep level, and offer them irresistable offers.
Determine the best way to get products/programs to market, to the right people at the right time, meeting the right core needs.
Develop a promotional and media strategy that reaches your ideal clients in ways that highlight your strengths and ability to meet their needs.
You do not operate in a vacuum. You are a part of the community and economy in which you operate. What are the things going on around you that impact your ability to carry out your mission in the world?
Look at how your company fits into the broader spectrum of your world. Who else does what you do or provides similar services. How are they the same, how are they different, what can you learn from them, and how does their presence impact your business in positive and negative ways. What can you learn from your competitors?
Understand how the economy affects your business and determine ways to diversify your streams of income to keep the income streams flowing.
Analyze the feasibility and effectiveness of current systems and future plans.
- See how much profit you are making currently from your products/programs.
What is working for you, and what has turned out to be unprofitable?
- How can you better handle risk, office and production systems, employees, and other factors so that what you are currently doing can be made more profitable and so that future plans can unfold in a more profitable way?
Get a handle on Technology management
- How to incorporate new technologies and communication tools so that your organization has the advantage of being cutting edge.
- How to do it in a timely and economical way.
- Have a web presence that draws the right clients and funnels the right prospective clients to an action
Focus on the assests you currently have. What are things that may be underutilized or perhaps part of a previous business that may be brought to bear in the current situation.
Unfold creative ways to fund your business growth in any economy. Explore and expand your multiple streams of business.
Take a look at the potential risks and minimized them in ways that add to your overall business success.
Know your strengths and weaknesses. Use these to determine where you require support.
Look at the current opportunities you have in front of you. Determine which have the most leverage— can be converted to income most easily. Get a plan.
Know your flows of energies – personal and corporate, and see how they can be leveraged. Where the energies are weak or blocked, things break down, pile up, face obstacles, and don’t flow. Here the blockages must be dealt with before dealing with increasing the flow.
Define the support required and explore where it can come from.
Understand that money is just one of many flows of energy through your business and that there are ways to enhance and facilitate the flow. Explore those ways. Look at where the money comes from, where it goes, and where else you can look for new flows.
There are many lenses through which you can view each of the above issues. Here are a few:
- Universal Laws
- Flow – rate, strength, focus, direction
- Creation/manifestation/flow cycle
